Despite facing numerous setbacks throughout the season, Abdulla demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill, ultimately finishing 3rd overall in the highly competitive Senior Category.

Round 1: A Race of Resilience

The season kicked off with a challenging weekend for Abdulla. After qualifying in a disappointing P11, things took a turn for the worse in the heat session when a battery issue prevented him from finishing. However, Abdulla's never-give-up attitude shone through in the Pre-Final. Starting from the pits and dealing with the same battery issue, he impressively worked his way up to P5 from the back of the grid. In the Final, his determination continued to push him forward as he secured a P4 finish, a solid recovery from what could have been a disastrous start to the season.

Reflecting on the first round, Abdulla noted, "This weekend has been filled with ups and downs, but that’s racing." His ability to bounce back from early setbacks set the tone for the rest of the season.

Round 2: Battling Adversity

The second round was another tough test for Abdulla. He started strong, qualifying in P4 and finishing P3 in the heat session. However, the Pre-Final ended in disappointment with a DNF. In the Final, despite the chaos on the track, with many reckless drivers causing collisions, Abdulla managed to finish P7 after once again finding himself battling from the back of the grid.

"It was a hectic weekend with many reckless drivers at the back of the grid," Abdulla shared. "I had to work from the back multiple times and show good race-craft. I better see sportsmanship next round." Despite the challenges, his determination to push forward was evident.

Round 3: Technical Woes

The third round saw Abdulla facing more technical difficulties. He qualified in P6 and finished P4 in the heat session. The Pre-Final was going exceptionally well, with Abdulla leading in P2 before disaster struck—his chain exploded in the final laps, resulting in another DNF. In the Final, he fought hard to finish in P6, showing his resilience even in the face of bad luck.

"It was a solid weekend despite many technical issues," Abdulla remarked. "Overall, just bad luck." His ability to stay focused and perform under pressure was becoming a hallmark of his racing style.

Rounds 4 and 5: The Ultimate Comeback

The final two rounds of the season were nothing short of spectacular for Abdulla. Despite suffering from an arm injury, he managed to secure a double podium finish, propelling him from 5th to 3rd in the overall championship standings. This remarkable comeback, achieved under challenging circumstances, showcased Abdulla's tenacity and talent.

Reflecting on his achievement, Abdulla said, "That was the best comeback of all time. A double podium finish and jumping from 5th to 3rd in the championship is just unreal. Even with the arm injury, I still did all of this."

He was quick to acknowledge the support of his team and mechanics, stating, "I couldn’t have done it without this amazing team and mechanics. A big thanks to all the people that supported me."
